The Big Idea
If you have an emerging business (who came up with that limiting term small anyway?), you have to attend the Big Idea conference happening in Oct/Nov. Even if you're still stuck in the corporate closet, it'll help you start thinking like an entrepreneur. Visit www.thebigidea.co.za for more info.
Oh, and we're running some workshops on creativity and innovation there too! Bonus.
Call Louise now - 021 970 1050 - and book your place.

Hey Simon,
So what do you think, worth two days? Have you been to the previous gigs?
I'm half-way there...!

The price of the Big Idea is ridiculously cheap, so in terms of that it's a great session to attend. There're multiple streams to attend, and if you're finding it some of them not relevant to you, you're not going to worry about the cost of skipping some of them. The bigger question is what the two days will cost you in terms of business continuity. I believe the time away from the business will benefit one as it allows a chance to get an alternative perspective. Let alone the networking. After all some of the most valuable things about these events are is 'whitespace' between the programme, the fortuitis meetings or insight gained just by speaking with delegates.
